Avelo System — a different approach to buoyancy
The Avelo System replaces the traditional BCD-and-cylinder buoyancy concept with a Hydrotank and Jetpack. Water is pumped into the Hydrotank to compress its internal breathing-gas bladder and change system density, allowing the diver to establish neutral buoyancy without repeatedly adding and venting air from a BCD.
Why it matters: Avelo is one of the more genuinely different recreational scuba equipment concepts to appear in recent years.

Suunto Nautic — large-screen next-generation dive computer
Suunto’s Nautic is the larger member of its new Nautic family. The current product combines a large AMOLED display, wireless tank-pressure support, multi-gas and sidemount modes, GPS and underwater-route tracking, Suunto App integration and an integrated LED flashlight.
Suunto rates the Nautic for up to 120 hours of dive time on one charge under stated conditions.
Why it matters: a modern large-screen platform that now reaches from recreational diving into increasingly technical functions through firmware.

Suunto Nautic S — compact AMOLED sibling
The Nautic S brings much of the Nautic concept into a smaller watch-style format. Suunto lists a bright AMOLED display, wireless tank pressure, single- and multi-gas modes, sidemount support, GPS, offline maps, weather tools and Suunto App connectivity.
It is rated for roughly 40–60 hours of dive battery life, depending on use and configuration.
Why it matters: it gives divers a smaller everyday-wear alternative without reducing the product to a simple entry-level computer.

Cressi Da Vinci — full-colour wide-screen recreational computer
Cressi’s Da Vinci uses a full-colour TFT LCD with integrated digital compass, Bluetooth connection to the DiveSync app and USB-C charging. It supports Air, Nitrox and Gauge modes and can manage up to four gas mixes with in-dive gas switching.
Cressi states that the Da Vinci uses a Bühlmann ZHL-16C decompression algorithm with adjustable gradient factors and conservatism.
Why it matters: Cressi is moving toward a modern colour-screen, rechargeable and connected computer while keeping the feature set focused primarily on recreational and advanced nitrox diving.
